Here are some quick thoughts on a cool NoDak Friday:
- Some folks live more interesting lives than others.
- I really H. Jenkins' idea of "spreadable" media. I need to pencil in time to read the entire 8 part (!) discussion of it on his blog.
- It will be cool to follow the work at the Berlin-Kent Ostia Excavations again this summer.
- This is a pretty scathing review.
- This is pretty cool and this blog is a nice way to highlight the accomplishments of your students.
- The Working Group in Digital and New Media got some good press from the President yesterday in the University Council Meeting. As the press release says: "Two new initiatives may be built into sustainable centers, Kelley said, citing one project that focuses on digital and new media (involving the department of computer science, art, English, history, music and the Chester Fritz Library)..."
- Chuck Jones continues to produce useful online content. Check out his Ancient World Online for the latest on open access material for scholars of antiquity.
That's all for today... have a good weekend.
