Conferences

Here are a couple conferences that might be of interest to members of the Mediterranean and Post Mediterranean Archaeology Interest Group.

• "The Insular System of Early Byzantine Mediterranean: Archaeology and History" Archaeological Research Unit of the University of Cyprus, October 24-26.
  I know nothing about this workshop or seminar, but the topic is appealing.  Here's the program.

  This conference is organized by the Ways of Religious Seeing in Late Antiquity Working Group and it's organized by Alice Christ at Kentucky and Janet Tulloch at Carleton University, Ontario:

Just stumbled upon your blog. You have some good stuff on here that our Classics and Archaeology students might be interested in. Let me know if you are ever in the DC region. We'd love to have you talk at GWU about some of your dig experiences.
